The pre-selection for the Awoulaba du Goh competition has been launched in Gagnoa.
The Awoulaba committee of the Goh region is in preparation for the organization of the pre-selection scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the multipurpose hall of the Gagnoa town hall.
This second edition mobilizes candidates and partners who want to be associated with this cultural event, thus promoting Ivorian beauty.
Nearly 12 candidates from the sub-prefectures of Bayota, Ouragahio, Guiberoua, Diegonefla, the commune of Gagnoa, and Oumé will have the important task of representing the Goh region at the national selection next July. To that end, the candidates selected for the Gagnoa pre-selection are working hard to ensure a successful event.
The theme chosen for this year is: "Girl education, an investment for the future".
Gnizako Océane, president of the Awoulaba committee of the Goh region, insists on the authenticity of feminine beauty in its splendor and calls on the inhabitants of Gagnoa to come in large numbers to attend the Awoulaba pre-selection of Goh, a way to encourage women to showcase the harmonization of their bodies through traditional outfits from the various regions of the country and beyond the borders.
The second edition will feature a culinary competition where contestants will prepare dishes from various regions of Ivory Coast. The best cook will receive a prize from Awoulaba's official partner in the Goh region.
In short, everything is in place for the inhabitants of the cheese-making city to have a pleasant time during the second edition of the Awoulaba competition in the Goh region.
