The AAPEE-CI is calling on the electoral commission to address the elections for the presidency of the General Mutual of Civil Servants and State Employees of Côte d'Ivoire (MUGEFCI) during the elections for the presidency of the General Mutual of Civil Servants and State Agents of Côte d'Ivoire (MUGEFCI).
The elections for the presidency of the General Mutual of Civil Servants and State Agents of Ivory Coast (MUGEFCI) are to be held in a few weeks.
While the various teams are already in pre-campaign mode, the invalidation of certain candidacy files deemed fraudulent or incomplete is causing serious concern.
The Autonomous Association of Parents and Students of Côte d'Ivoire (AAPEE-CI), concerned with preserving social peace within public administrations, calls upon the president of the electoral commission to take all necessary measures to allow the candidates concerned to regularize their files. Such an approach would promote a peaceful, transparent, and inclusive competition.
"The importance of social cohesion"
The AAPEE-CI also calls upon the Minister of Public Service to use her authority to help resolve the observed difficulties, in the interest of social cohesion and the proper functioning of the administration. Indeed, the school year is currently proceeding in a relatively calm atmosphere.
The AAPEE-CI strongly hopes that this momentum will be preserved and that no tension related to this electoral process will lead to work stoppages that could negatively impact the functioning of schools and public administrations in general.
The AAPEE-CI therefore calls for a transparent, fair and inclusive electoral process, the only guarantee of lasting stability within the civil service and a social climate favorable to the smooth running of educational activities throughout the national territory.
