Gagnoa: Djohoré puts 'Béhizignon' on a development mission
The executive committee of the women's association 'Béhizignon' was officially installed on Saturday at Place Bonweli in the Garahio district. The ceremony was sponsored by Abel Djohoré, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIGF. He took the opportunity to entrust his protégés with an important mission throughout the Gagnoa department.
The members of 'Béhizignon' have chosen Ms. Ozoua Sandrine to preside over this association, which aims to promote mutual aid and solidarity in order to make it a model to emulate. This objective stems from the meaning of 'Béhizignon'.
“Béhizignon means that friendship is more valuable than blood ties. It’s not just a simple name. It’s our philosophy,” explained Ozoua Sandrine.
Following this, the godfather acknowledged the truth that lies in the name of the association.
“Béhizignon has a profound meaning. Sincere friendship goes beyond fraternity. It is not the basic friendship that we talk about in associations. I want to go as far as political parties, which are also associations. Sometimes, we have more sincere ties in associations than in our own families,” argues the PCA.
He justified his remarks by pointing out that in some biological families, brothers and sisters look at each other with suspicion even though they are of the same blood.
"In front of people they pretend to love each other, but deep down they burn with hatred. I invite members of the same family to rise above political quarrels. Whatever happens, we remain brothers," the speaker advised.
For him, the battle to be fought is the development of the cheese-making town, to give it a more appealing image. All the more reason for him to entrust this mission to his goddaughters.
“We are putting you on a mission from this investiture. Wherever you have a representation, launch the message that in Gagnoa, things must change. We are here to lead this vision of change,” Djohoré revealed the content of the 'Béhizignon' roadmap.
He says he is fighting to develop Gagnoa. He is supported in this project by President Ouattara.
“When I stand behind President Ouattara and fight for him, it is for my brothers and sisters that I do it. That is what must not be forgotten. We should not blame our own brother or sister because he does not have the same political views as us,” stressed Abel Djohoré.
Taking the floor in turn, Dosso Mamadou, 3rd vice-president of the Béré regional council, representing the president of the ceremony, Minister Dossa Moussa, emphasized the importance of women in society.
“Women occupy an essential place in our families, in our communities and in the development of our country. When a woman is empowered, the whole family progresses. When a woman is given responsibility, the whole community is strengthened,” affirmed the Vice-President of Béré.
He notes that beyond the investiture, this event celebrates commitment, fraternity, solidarity and above all female leadership.
"Through the Béhizinon association, determined, dynamic and committed women are choosing to put their energy and skills at the service of development, social cohesion and the well-being of their community," said Dosso Mamadou.
We should mention Bamba Mamadou, known as Bamba Immeuble, a special guest and senator from Béré, who graced the ceremony with his presence. He wanted to show his support for his younger brother, Abel Djohoré.
