Start of the National Public Service Days
The start of the national public service days (JNSP) was given this Tuesday by Assamoi Bernard, secretary general of the prefecture of Gagnoa.
The first day's agenda included a panel discussion: "What appropriate responses does the administration provide to the concerns and expectations of citizens in the Gôh region?"
This was the theme around which the panelists, from different administrations, spoke to the civil servants who came in large numbers to participate in the activity.
"I would like to invite the panelists to share their experiences, their good practices as well as the innovative initiatives implemented in their respective sectors in order to strengthen the effectiveness of administrative action for the benefit of our fellow citizens," said the prefectural secretary general at the opening of the proceedings.
He adds that this meeting will allow for the formulation of recommendations likely to further improve the quality of services offered to the population.
Facing the audience were 4 panelists. Oussoua Oté Emmanuel , chief of staff at the Gôh regional council.
Dr. Ahoton, wife of Gadji, departmental director of health. Akichi Firmin, secretary general of the Drena and Kwamin Kouamé Daniel , regional director of urban planning.
Each representative explained the type of relationship that exists between their department and the client, and what each offers in terms of services. A question-and-answer session was the highlight of the meeting.
This will allow civil servants to be informed about specific concerns. Kouassi Mathias , regional director of the civil service, justified the choice of this theme by the fact that the population encounters many problems at the administrative level.
"But do these expectations resonate at the administration level? It is this link that we would like to highlight today to understand how the administration reacts when a citizen expresses a need," argued the regional director of the civil service.
He then pointed out that the needs and expectations of civil servants are enormous and exist at various levels. For example, in education, health, infrastructure, etc.
“That’s why we asked for panelists. I think they lived up to expectations and met them. Given the mobilization around the JNSP, I can say that I am satisfied and I hope that things will continue in the same direction in the following days,” noted Kouassi Mathias .
The second day is reserved for sports activities. The third day for clinical workshops.
The final day, which is the closing day, will be devoted to the decoration of 75 best officials from the Gôh region.
It should be noted that the JNSP were initiated by the Minister of State, Anne Désirée Oulotoh Lamizana, in 2021. This is the 6th edition at the national level and the 3rd edition for the Gôh region.
