World Games Chile 2027: Djédjé Dahon and Richard Hermann will defend their title
Aged 31, Djédjé Dahon Richard Hermann, crowned world champion at the Berlin World Games in 2023, will again defend the colors of Ivory Coast at the next edition.
This time in Chile, he secured his qualification during the Yamoussoukro 2026 National Games, with the gold medal in the bocce discipline.
He is proud of this performance which reflects well on the town of Gagnoa, where he was born.
He says he recognizes the scope of the mission; that is why he invites everyone to support it.
A call reiterated by the head of the Gagnoa sub-program of Special Olympics, Charles Gbana, who says he is counting on everyone's mobilization.
Anything that will create, he said, emulation among young people who, very often, indulge in vices.
